Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by representatives of Zakale Safaris. In the traditional African style, you will be greeted with wet towels and bubbly, along with a thoughtful gift – an authentic safari hat and other essentials for your adventure. After this, you will be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi, the vibrant capital city of Kenya. Check into the Emara Ole Sereni Hotel and spend the rest of your day at leisure, relaxing after your journey. Meals will be provided (LDBB).

After breakfast, you will check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. En route, you will make a brief stop at the Rift Valley Viewpoint to take in the magnificent views. As you travel through the Great Rift Valley, you will pass Mount Longonot before arriving at your lodge. After check-in and lunch, you will embark on an afternoon game drive, exploring spots like Baboon Cliff and Lion Hill. The park is home to a variety of animals, including lions, buffalo, endangered Rothschild giraffes, black and white rhinos, and more. Over 300 bird species also thrive in this region.

Dinner and overnight will be at Mbweha Safari Camp (LDBB).

This morning, you will have breakfast before heading to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Traveling through the Great Rift Valley, you will arrive at Tipilikwani Luxury Tented Camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will embark on your first game drive in the Masai Mara, a reserve teeming with wildlife including the famous “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino. The vast savannahs are home to herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous predators. Dinner and overnight will be at Tipilikwani Luxury Tented Camp (LDBB).

Spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara. After breakfast, depart for a full day of game viewing in search of the abundant wildlife. Be on the lookout for lions, elephants, and perhaps a cheetah or leopard making a kill. You can also opt for a hot air balloon safari to experience the Mara from above, followed by a champagne breakfast. Another option is a visit to a traditional Maasai Manyatta to learn about the unique culture of the Maasai people.

Return to Tipilikwani Camp for dinner and overnight (LDBB).

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti, crossing the border at Isebania into Tanzania. Your guide will assist with immigration procedures before continuing to Kirawira Serena Camp. Along the way, you will enjoy a scenic drive and take in the landscapes of East Africa. You can also opt for a flight to break up the journey.

Dinner and overnight will be at Kirawira Serena Camp (LDBB).

Today, enjoy a full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park. The endless plains are home to a wide array of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and cheetahs. You may witness thrilling predator hunts or catch sight of the Great Migration, depending on the season. An optional hot air balloon safari is available for a breathtaking aerial view of the park. Return to Kirawira Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight (LDBB).

Another day to enjoy a full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park. The endless plains are home to a wide array of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and cheetahs. You may witness thrilling predator hunts or catch sight of the Great Migration, depending on the season. An optional hot air balloon safari is available for a breathtaking aerial view of the park.

Return to Kirawira Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight (LDBB).

This morning, after breakfast, you will travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, you will stop at Oldupai Gorge, one of the most significant prehistoric sites in the world, for a talk on human evolution. Afterward, you will arrive at your lodge on the crater rim, where you can enjoy lunch and relax while taking in spectacular views of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Dinner and overnight will be at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge (LDBB).

After breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an impressive variety of wildlife, including lions, buffaloes, zebras, rhinos, and more. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater and continue exploring its diverse landscapes.

In the afternoon, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight (LDBB).

Following breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in this park known for its large herds of elephants and distinctive baobab trees. Tarangire is also home to a wide variety of animals such as wildebeest, zebras, and predators like lions and leopards.

Dinner and overnight will be at Tarangire Sopa Lodge (LDBB).

Spend a full day exploring Tarangire National Park. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, with the opportunity to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and more. The park’s diverse landscapes offer stunning photography opportunities.

Return to Tarangire Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight (LDBB).

After an early breakfast, you will depart via the Namanga border into Kenya, arriving at Amboseli National Park by lunch. After checking into your lodge, embark on an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Dinner and overnight will be at Amboseli Sopa Lodge (LDBB).

Enjoy a full day of game drives in Amboseli National Park. With its iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, this park offers excellent wildlife viewing, including lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight (LDBB).

On your final day, enjoy breakfast before checking out of your lodge. You will be transferred back to Nairobi, with time to reflect on your unforgettable safari experience. Afterward, you will be taken to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your home-bound flight, leaving Kenya with memories and photographs to cherish forever.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all safari packages offered by Zakale Expeditions. By booking with us, you agree to adhere to the following policies:

1. Amendment Policy

At Zakale Expeditions, we understand that travel plans can change. We strive to accommodate your needs while maintaining service quality.
Amendment Terms:

  • Request Notice: All amendment requests must be made in writing via email to our official address.
  • Timeline: Amendments can be requested up to 14 days before the scheduled departure.
  • Approval: Amendments are subject to availability and approval by Zakale Expeditions.
  • Fees:
    • Amendments made 14 days or more before the trip will incur no additional fee.
    • Amendments made less than 14 days before the trip may attract a processing fee of up to 10% of the total booking cost.
  • Changes Allowed: Date changes, accommodation upgrades, and itinerary adjustments can be requested, subject to availability.

2. Cancellation Policy

We understand that cancellations can happen due to unforeseen circumstances. Our cancellation policy is structured to balance fairness for both clients and service providers.
Cancellation Terms:

  • Request Notice: All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
  • Timeline & Charges:
    • More than 30 days before departure: 10% of the package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
    • 15-30 days before departure: 30% of the package cost will be charged.
    • 7-14 days before departure: 50% of the package cost will be charged.
    • Less than 7 days before departure: No refunds will be provided.
  • No Show: If a client fails to appear for the safari without prior notice, no refund will be issued.

3. Refund Policy

Our refund policy ensures transparency and fairness while covering necessary operational costs.
Refund Terms:

  • Eligibility: Refunds will only be processed for cancellations made within the specified timelines.
  • Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after approval.
  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued using the original payment method used during booking.
  • Non-Refundable Items: The following costs are non-refundable:
    • Park entry fees
    • Airline tickets (unless the airline’s policy allows)
    • Travel insurance premiums
    • Third-party activity bookings made on behalf of the client
  • Force Majeure: No refunds will be provided for cancellations due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or political instability.

4. Partial Payment Policy

Zakale Expeditions allows flexible partial payment plans to make travel planning easier.
Partial Payment Terms:

  • Deposit Requirement: A minimum deposit of 30% of the total package cost is required to secure the booking.
  • Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be cleared at least 14 days before the trip departure date.
  • Failure to Complete Payment: If full payment is not received within the specified timeline, the booking may be considered canceled, and the deposit will be non-refundable.
  • Payment Plans: Flexible payment plans can be arranged upon request and subject to written agreement.

5. Data Protection Policy

Data Protection Terms:

  • Data Collection: We collect personal data necessary for processing bookings, including names, contact details, and passport information.

    • Zakale Expeditions does not sell or trade customer data.

6. General Conditions

  • Travel Documents: Clients must ensure they possess valid travel documents, including visas and health certificates.
  • Travel Insurance: We recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance before departure.
  • Health & Safety: Clients are responsible for meeting all health requirements and complying with COVID-19 protocols if applicable.
  • Liability: Zakale Expeditions is not liable for any personal injuries, loss of personal items, or incidents occurring due to circumstances beyond our control.
