This safari will take you right at the migration spot to witness the eighth wonder of the world where wildebeest cross the Mara River to Maasai Mara in search of greener pasture. Safari that combines the scenic beauty of Amboseli well known for its huge elephants against the backdrop of Mt.Kilimanjaro Africa’s tallest mountain before winding our safari to famed Maasai Mara the jewel of African safari, here the game is abundance and has never failed to surprise.

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international airport in Nairobi, you will be met and assisted by our driver guide and transfer to your hotel. If your flight arrives in the afternoon you will be directed to the hotel for relaxation and overnight, if it falls within the morning hours you can opt to do excursions in Nairobi. Optional excursions to be undertaken are Daphne Sheldrake Elephant orphanage, giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum (out of Africa), Mama Tunza childrens orphanage, handcraft Centre and shopping in Utamaduni & Nairobi national park. Overnight on bed and breakfast at Ole Sereni Hotel or Similar.

After sumptuous breakfast, we drive south to the Athi plains of Amboseli. Arrive in time for lunch at our lodge. In the afternoon, we will depart for an enchanting game drive in search of teeming wildlife against the backdrop of the highest mountain in Africa; panorama to behold with scenic beauty and magical light here it’s a photographer’s paradise they can’t wait to capture an African elephant against the snow- capped mountain. Return for dinner and Overnight. Kibo Safari camp.

Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives in search of big herds of Elephants, Cape buffalo, lions and other teeming wildlife roaming in the park. You will also be taken to Kilimanjaro viewpoint to admire the scenic view of this mountain and the park. Dinner and overnight Kibo Safari camp.

After breakfast, depart from Amboseli and drive to Lake Naivasha, located in the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in Naivasha in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos and a variety of birdlife. You may also visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among the freely roaming wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at your Naivasha lodge.

After an early breakfast, depart from Naivasha and drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve, arriving at your camp in time for lunch. Check in at your camp and relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive. The Maasai Mara is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) and the annual wildebeest migration. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Mara leisure.

Spend a full day exploring the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Witness the incredible wildlife and the stunning landscapes of the reserve. You may also have the option to visit a Maasai village to learn about the local culture and traditions (additional cost). Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush (additional cost) or return to the camp for meals. After an adventurous day, return to the camp for dinner and another overnight stay.

After a leisurely breakfast. Check out and depart from Maasai Mara, driving back to Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight, or to your Nairobi hotel if you are extending your stay.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all safari packages offered by Zakale Expeditions. By booking with us, you agree to adhere to the following policies:

1. Amendment Policy

At Zakale Expeditions, we understand that travel plans can change. We strive to accommodate your needs while maintaining service quality.
Amendment Terms:

  • Request Notice: All amendment requests must be made in writing via email to our official address.
  • Timeline: Amendments can be requested up to 14 days before the scheduled departure.
  • Approval: Amendments are subject to availability and approval by Zakale Expeditions.
  • Fees:
    • Amendments made 14 days or more before the trip will incur no additional fee.
    • Amendments made less than 14 days before the trip may attract a processing fee of up to 10% of the total booking cost.
  • Changes Allowed: Date changes, accommodation upgrades, and itinerary adjustments can be requested, subject to availability.

2. Cancellation Policy

We understand that cancellations can happen due to unforeseen circumstances. Our cancellation policy is structured to balance fairness for both clients and service providers.
Cancellation Terms:

  • Request Notice: All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
  • Timeline & Charges:
    • More than 30 days before departure: 10% of the package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
    • 15-30 days before departure: 30% of the package cost will be charged.
    • 7-14 days before departure: 50% of the package cost will be charged.
    • Less than 7 days before departure: No refunds will be provided.
  • No Show: If a client fails to appear for the safari without prior notice, no refund will be issued.

3. Refund Policy

Our refund policy ensures transparency and fairness while covering necessary operational costs.
Refund Terms:

  • Eligibility: Refunds will only be processed for cancellations made within the specified timelines.
  • Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after approval.
  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued using the original payment method used during booking.
  • Non-Refundable Items: The following costs are non-refundable:
    • Park entry fees
    • Airline tickets (unless the airline’s policy allows)
    • Travel insurance premiums
    • Third-party activity bookings made on behalf of the client
  • Force Majeure: No refunds will be provided for cancellations due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or political instability.

4. Partial Payment Policy

Zakale Expeditions allows flexible partial payment plans to make travel planning easier.
Partial Payment Terms:

  • Deposit Requirement: A minimum deposit of 30% of the total package cost is required to secure the booking.
  • Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be cleared at least 14 days before the trip departure date.
  • Failure to Complete Payment: If full payment is not received within the specified timeline, the booking may be considered canceled, and the deposit will be non-refundable.
  • Payment Plans: Flexible payment plans can be arranged upon request and subject to written agreement.

5. Data Protection Policy

We are committed to safeguarding your personal information and ensuring your privacy.
Data Protection Terms:

  • Data Collection: We collect personal data necessary for processing bookings, including names, contact details, and passport information.
  • Use of Data: Your data will be used strictly for booking, processing payments, customer communication, and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Data Sharing:
    • Personal data will not be shared with third parties unless required for completing bookings (e.g., hotels, airlines, park authorities).
    • Zakale Expeditions does not sell or trade customer data.
  • Data Storage: All personal information is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary for operational and legal purposes.
  • Client Rights:
    • You have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of your data.
    • To exercise these rights, please contact us via our official channels.

6. General Conditions

  • Travel Documents: Clients must ensure they possess valid travel documents, including visas and health certificates.
  • Travel Insurance: We recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance before departure.
  • Health & Safety: Clients are responsible for meeting all health requirements and complying with COVID-19 protocols if applicable.
  • Liability: Zakale Expeditions is not liable for any personal injuries, loss of personal items, or incidents occurring due to circumstances beyond our control.

7. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a safari package with Zakale Expeditions, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to modify these policies without prior notice.
